Making Waves for a Good Cause: Our EZ Dock Optimus Boat Port Installation at Cahore, Co. Wexford
We recently had the privilege of working on a project that’s more than just a dock installation—it’s about community and safety. In partnership with the amazing people at Cahore Inshore Rescue Service (CIRS), we installed an EZ Dock system at Cahore, Co. Wexford, to help with their recent fundraising efforts.
EZ Docks are a premium floating dock system known for their strength, stability, and eco-friendly construction. They’re resistant to damage from the elements and require minimal upkeep. The Optimus boat port is a drive-on, drive-off port that makes dry-docking small boats and RIBs simple and fast.
The new dock system, which includes the fantastic Optimus boat port, was put in the water just in time for a major fundraiser. It provided a place for their lifeboat to sit for the duration of the fundraiser so patrons could see it out of the water.
The EZ Dock system was the perfect solution for this project. Its durable, low-maintenance, and eco-friendly design means it can stand up to the coastal conditions of Wexford, while its modular nature allowed us to create a bespoke setup that perfectly suited CIRS’s needs. The addition of the Optimus boat port makes it incredibly easy for boats to launch and dock, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for everyone involved.
It was an honor to contribute to such a worthy cause. The dedication of the Cahore Inshore Rescue Service volunteers is truly inspiring, and we’re proud to know that our work will help them continue their life-saving mission!
