We’re thrilled to share details of a recent project that’s set to make life much easier for members of the Waterford Boat Club: the installation of two brand-new EZ Boatports! We were on-site recently to get these innovative docking solutions in place, and the feedback so far has been fantastic.
The primary benefit of these new Boatports is the sheer ease of use they offer. Gone are the days of wrestling with ropes and fenders to perfectly position your boat. With the EZ Boatport, members can now simply drive their boats directly onto and off the port with incredible ease. This streamlined process means more time enjoying the water and less time struggling with docking.
One of the highlights of this particular installation was how smoothly the EZ Boatports integrated with the club’s existing infrastructure. We were able to securely attach both Boatports to the club’s current wooden dock. This really showcases the versatility of the EZ Boatport system – it can be adapted to various docking setups, making it an ideal solution for many different waterfront properties, whether private or commercial.
Beyond the daily convenience, these Boatports offer significant long-term advantages. The design allows members to lift their boats completely out of the water when not in use. This is a game-changer for maintenance and repairs, as it eliminates the need for cumbersome cranking or winching equipment. Imagine being able to easily access the hull for cleaning, repairs, or winterization, all without the hassle of traditional lifting methods. Keeping boats out of the water also significantly reduces marine growth and wear and tear, ultimately extending the life of the vessel.
